About the Founder

My name is Mosope, and I’m the founder of Her Narrative Co. This brand is a reflection of everything I’ve survived, everything I’ve reclaimed, and everything I’m still becoming.

For years, I lived in survival mode—carrying trauma that stole pieces of me. I’ve endured emotional wounds, physical violations, and deep betrayals that made me question my worth. I felt disconnected from my body, my voice, and my joy.

But deep down, I knew I was meant for more. I didn’t want to just survive—I wanted to heal. And that healing started with small things. With self-expression. With rituals. With moments where I reminded myself, “I am still here.”

When I first started Her Narrative Co, I was selling safety keychains, lip gloss, and lashes—simple things that still made women feel seen and cared for. But when I added waist beads to the lineup, it just felt right. I grew up in the culture, so waist beads were never new to me—but tying on the first one I made with my own hands was different. It was powerful. Sacred. It reminded me that I was in control of my body again.

That feeling is what truly birthed this brand’s purpose.

I created Her Narrative Co to give women what I was missing—a space to feel seen, valued, and whole. Every product I craft, from our beads to our oils, is made with intention. They’re reminders that your story is still yours to shape, no matter what you’ve been through.

Her Narrative Co is more than a business to me. It’s my way of turning pain into purpose—and helping other women do the same.

You deserve beauty, softness, and strength. You deserve to feel at home in your body. And you deserve to rewrite your narrative—on your own terms.

Welcome to mine. I hope it inspires yours.
